The Vampire Facelift Process

Perhaps you’ve seen the infamous Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode where Kim underwent a Vampire Facelift.  Perhaps you’ve never heard of the treatment.  Regardless, the Vampire Facelift is one of the hottest new facial treatments in the aesthetics industry today – and for good reason.  The Vampire Facelift utilizes the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in your blood to help reinvigorate and revitalize the look and feel of your facial skin.

It might sound scary and complicated, but the process is actually straightforward.  During the Vampire Facelift process, Dr. Kelley draws a sample of your blood, and then removes the platelets from the blood using a special separating machine.  Once the platelets have been isolated, Dr. Kelley blends them with a fibrin mixture.  After this step, the mixture is ready to be injected into the patient’s desired treatment area, which is usually the face.

The Vampire Facelift is ideal for patients who want to smooth away wrinkles, fine lines, and creases from the facial skin.  Clients can expect some minor swelling during the process; however, the swelling usually goes down in about a day.  Clients will see optimal results a few weeks after the initial treatment.
