JEUVEAU or#Newtox is is a safe, non-surgical treatment that is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines. It is neurotoxin that is similiar to Botox and was FDA approved last year. We have included this neurotoxin as an alternative for the past 6 months and our patients are loving it.
Jeuveau is FDA approved to treat the wrinkles between the brows but also has been used to treat wrinkles in the forhead and crows feet.
All the neurotoxins act in a similiar fashion. They block the communication between the nerve and the muscle of expression. The effect lasts for 3-4 months.
